Utah Jazz Point Guard Keyonte George could be back sooner rather that later.

It appears rookie point guard Keyonte George is on the verge of returning to the court. Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune is reporting that George has a shot of suiting up for Tuesday night’s game versus the San Antonio Spurs.
Utah Jazz fans last saw George exit the game versus the New York Knicks on December 14. Since injuring his foot, George has missed six games, with Utah posting a 4-2 record during that span. With George and Jordan Clarkson back in the fold, it will be interesting to see what head coach Will Hardy has in store regarding the starting lineup.
Clarkson reverted back to a sixth man role in his first game back and responded with 30 points in a comeback victory versus the Toronto Raptors. This was the first game that Clarkson came off the bench since Hardy took over last season.
How well Collin Sexton and Talen Horton-Tucker have played since being inserted into the starting lineup complicates matters. Sexton has averaged 23.2 ppg over seven games while Horton-Tucker put up 23 points over three games before getting hurt.
When Utah’s backcourt is fully healthy, getting the players into a rhythm with not enough minutes to go around has been hard. At some point, Jazz fans can expect a trade to happen to help with that problem moving forward. The trade deadline this year is on February 8.
