Nine Bayern Munich Players Called Up by Germany

Nine Bayern Munich players have been selected for Germany’s upcoming international matches, giving the club a strong presence in the national team squad.

Germany head coach Jürgen Klopp announced his squad on September 17, with Bayern players Jonas Urbig, Jonathan Tah, Joshua Kimmich, Serge Gnabry, Tom Bischof, Jamal Musiala, Nathaniel Brown, Lennart Karl and Aleksandar Pavlović all receiving call-ups.

The selection highlights the number of Bayern players currently involved in Germany’s senior national team setup. Several of the players have already established themselves at international level, while others are beginning to make their mark with the national side.

For Bayern, the international break comes after an impressive run of results. The team entered the break unbeaten during the opening part of the 2026/27 campaign. Bayern most recently defeated Union Berlin 7–0, with Michael Olise scoring three goals and Harry Kane reaching 100 Bundesliga goals.

Jamal Musiala is among the most notable Bayern players included in the Germany squad. The midfielder recently returned to the starting lineup after recovering from injury and scored against Bodø/Glimt in Bayern’s Champions League campaign.

Young players are also gaining attention. Lennart Karl and Tom Bischof are part of a group of younger Bayern talents receiving opportunities at the international level. Their inclusion reflects the growing role of young players within both Bayern and the German national team.

Joshua Kimmich remains another important figure in the squad. The Bayern captain has extensive experience with Germany and continues to be a key player for both club and country.

The international break will give the selected players an opportunity to represent Germany before returning to Munich for the next part of the club season. Bayern’s next Bundesliga match is scheduled for October 10 against Augsburg.
