The award recognizes the most outstanding collegiate softball player in the nation, and in 2025, no one embodied excellence, versatility, and leadership more than Scott.
A dynamic force both offensively and defensively, Scott not only led the Longhorns to a national title but also made history along the way. In a jaw-dropping display of her athleticism and adaptability, Scott became the first collegiate player ever to play all nine positions in a single game, a feat that stunned fans and earned her widespread admiration across the softball community.
