Crabtree’s on-field résumé is legendary. From 2007 to 2008, he rewrote the NCAA record books at Texas Tech, amassing over 3,000 receiving yards and 41 touchdowns in just two seasons. His most iconic moment came in 2008 when he caught a last-second touchdown pass to beat then-No. 1 Texas in one of the most dramatic plays in college football history. He was a two-time Biletnikoff Award winner before being drafted 10th overall by the San Francisco 49ers in the 2009 NFL Draft.
After a successful 11-year NFL career with teams including the 49ers, Raiders, and Ravens, Crabtree had remained mostly out of the spotlight—until now.
