At an impromptu press conference held outside Memorial Stadium this morning, Buffett, dressed in a red Nebraska letterman jacket over his usual modest button-down shirt, addressed a cheering crowd of students, athletes, and staff.

Each bus will carry a mix of current athletes, alumni, and local fans to various stops across Nebraska, Iowa, and Kansas for meet-and-greet events, youth clinics, and fundraisers for underserved high schools.
“It’s like a barnstorming tour, the Buffett way,” said Head Football Coach Matt Rhule. “He didn’t just give us wheels—he gave us a road to connect with people.”
As the press conference wrapped up, Buffett was asked why he chose buses instead of a more conventional donation.
