The standout from Trinity Episcopal School in Richmond, Virginia, announced his decision on May 12, giving head coach James Franklin and the Nittany Lions another dynamic weapon for the future.
Brown, a 6-foot-1, 195-pound playmaker, is ranked among the top wide receivers in the country for the 2026 cycle. According to the 247Sports Composite rankings, he is the No. 6 overall prospect in Virginia, the No. 29 wide receiver nationally, and sits comfortably inside the top 200 players in the class. His combination of size, speed, and football instincts has made him a coveted target for Power Five programs across the country.
During his junior campaign, Brown posted impressive numbers—hauling in 42 receptions for 946 yards and 10 touchdowns in just eight games. Brown’s commitment came following an unofficial visit to Penn State during the Blue-White spring game weekend in April. That visit clearly made a lasting impression, as Brown ultimately chose the Nittany Lions over other major offers from Georgia, Michigan, Duke, and Syracuse.
