In what will long be remembered as a watershed moment for Nebraska athletics, Amy Williams, head coach of the Nebraska Cornhuskers Women’s Basketball team, has been named Coach of the Year following a sensational season that electrified fans and redefined expectations. Coming off a challenging 2023-24 season, few predicted the Cornhuskers would make a serious run in the Big Ten, let alone reach national prominence.
