Osborne, ranked as the No. 6 running back in the nation by 247Sports and the No. 47 overall prospect, chose Notre Dame over a final list that included Texas, Oklahoma, and Alabama. A dynamic blend of power and agility, Osborne rushed for over 1,800 yards and 24 touchdowns as a junior, helping lead Duncanville to a 6A state title. His acceleration through the line, vision in open space, and relentless drive after contact have made him one of the most feared backs in Texas high school football—and now, one of the most celebrated recruits in Notre Dame’s recent memory.

Notre Dame’s running backs coach Deland McCullough spearheaded the recruitment.
