Shamar Arnoux changes his mind about going to Tennessee.
Even though Tennessee has done well in recruiting for 2025, things don’t always work out as planned. On Saturday night, Shamar Arnoux from Carrollton High School said he was no longer committed to the Volunteers. Arnoux is a cornerback from Georgia and the first player to commit to Tennessee for the 2025 class. He used to play on the same team as Vols corner commits Dylan Lewis and Tyler Redmond.
Arnoux went to Georgia on Saturday and then said he will go to the University of Tennessee. He hung out with his friend from high school who plays football for USC. The Volunteers have a really good class and many great defensive back options that they like. On X, the person who might join in 2025, showed a picture of his trip to Georgia with the words “This visit felt special”.
Many people visited the Volunteers on campus, including top choices like Cameron Sparks and Ethan Utley. It was strange for a player to visit a different school when their own school was holding a big recruiting event like junior day. Many people found it strange at first, but now that we have the latest news, everything is starting to make sense. The Volunteers still have some good choices available to them. The 11th recruiting class in 247Sports’ rankings.
