Jazz loses to Knicks, Knicks win 118 to 103.
Last night, the Utah Jazz lost to the New York Knicks 118-103 at Madison Square Garden. These teams are going in different ways right now. The Jazz lost their last two games, while the Knicks won their last eight games.
The Jazz are still in the running for the playoffs with a record of 24-25. They will need to do well in their upcoming home games. The Knicks are doing really well in the playoffs, they are ranked third in the Eastern Conference.
Now, let’s examine the player who won and lost the most in this game.
Collin Sexton won.
The Jazz didn’t have much energy as a team, but Sexton played really well. He scored 22 points and made seven assists, leading the Jazz team. Even though Jalen Brunson scored 29 points for New York, Sexton took on the challenge and played with a lot of effort on the court. It’s pretty safe to say that Sexton works hardest on the Jazz team.
He plays really hard on both offense and defense and never gives up to any opponent. Jazz Nation is hoping that this young man stays with the team for a long time and doesn’t get traded.
For little kids who are learning to play basketball, spend some time watching Sexton play. His determination and spirit may make you question how committed you are.
Jordan Clarkson is not a winner.
Clarkson hasn’t been very into the game lately and seems a little separated from the fun of it. Yes, this is a job, but if your job isn’t fun, then it’s obvious that you won’t be very productive.
Clarkson played for 31 minutes and got 11 points. Scoring in double digits is good in the NBA, but he also made three mistakes and had the lowest rating in the game.
Clarkson’s body language looked negative, and I wonder if the trade deadline is affecting his performance. He is really good at coming off the bench to help his team in the game. Coach Hardy wants him to do well and make good things happen.
The Jazz will finally play a game at home and they are getting ready to go up against the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday night at 8:00 PM. A win will probably help the Jazz stay in the playoffs, but a loss could make them miss the playoffs.
