A sideline worker was left screaming in agony after suffering a broken leg following a collision with Saints running back Alvin Kamara in New Orleans’ Monday morning (AEDT) NFL clash with the Detroits Lions.
The incident occurred midway through the second quarter of the match at Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, after Kamara ran the ball to the left side of the field.

After breaking one tackle, the Saints superstar was pushed out of the bounds, forcing him to fall directly into the legs of a member of the NFL’s chain gang.
The crew member could be seen rolling around on the ground in agony immediately after the collision, with his lower left leg bent at a horrific angle..
Kamara could be seen on the Fox Sports broadcast looking down at the crew member hopelessly while a member of the sideline security staff comforted the injured official and immediately called for medical support.
The broadcast then cut away from the incident as medical staff loaded the injured crew member onto a stretcher and whisked him away to hospital.
Vision of the incident quickly went viral on social media with thousands of commenters speaking about how horrific the injury was, while others noticed Kamara’s helpless reaction
