The Penrith Panthers have confirmed their NRL squad for next season, which includes elevating new recruit Harrison Hassett into the Top 30.

The NSW and St Marys under-19 representative has decided to stay at the club despite interest from the Dolphins, who reportedly see him joining former SG Ball teammate Isaiya Katoa.

Hassett’s inclusion in the Top 30 means the Penrith Panthers are now down to just two places.

The squad will remain largely the same for next season despite losing five players: Jack Cogger, Stephen Crichton, Tom Jenkins, Spencer Leniu and Jaeman Salmon.
In their place, Paul Alamoti has been brought in from the Bulldogs, Daine Laurie will join the club after a spell with Wests Tigers and Brad Schneider will take on a reserve role after a spell in Super League.
Isaiah Iongi, Luke Sommerton, Preston Riki and Riley Price – the son of former NRL icon Steve Price – will benefit from additional contracts next season.
